This is Jaka Tower located in Ayala Avenue, Makati City. It was a planned office skyscraper and should be taller than the current tallest building of the country, which is PB Com. It was designed by the architectural firm Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum, and was to be the first highrise project of the then fledging JAKA Property Group. Construction started in 1996, and was scheduled for completion by 1999. Today is already 2011 and is still yet to be completed.
True to its name, this Jaka Tower looks so “chaka” along Ayala Avenue.
